6.35 mm mono jack cables (TS)
Description
Our 6.35 mm mono audio cables are entirely hand-assembled in the south of France by our skilled craftsmen. They combine reliability with exceptional sound quality thanks to meticulous design and superior-quality materials.
Like all our custom cables, they are silver-soldered. And they are flat. This promotes greater flexibility along the horizontal axis and greater rigidity along the vertical axis. This is why they are also less prone to deformation than their classic round counterparts. An additional woven PES sheath surrounds them to maximise the cable’s insulation whilst protecting it from friction. Finally, there is another PE sheath at the junction between the plug and the cable. The stresses on the solder joints are reduced, thereby increasing durability and reliability.
You can choose from several types of copper : OFC (available in various diameters), silver-plated OFC, OCC, and silver-plated OCC. Our OFC copper has a purity rating of 4N, meaning it is 99.99% pure. As for the OCC copper, it has a purity rating of 6N and is 99.9999% pure. The silver plating ensures better reproduction of high frequencies : they are more precise and better defined.
As for the connectors, we have opted for audiophile instrument jacks. The plug consists of two parts : tip and sleeve. The tip is responsible for transmitting the signal from the instrument. It is the most important part. This is why the copper is exposed at the contact point : nothing obstructs the signal. The rest of the tip is gold-plated, and the sleeve, which acts as a ground, is coated in nickel. We also offer a floating ground configuration to eliminate any possibility of interference in the signal transmission.
If you cannot find the size you require, or if you would like a different connector configuration, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be happy to manufacture the product that best meets your requirements.
